About the position

The Operations Coordinator for Rentals at KLX Energy Services is responsible for overseeing the daily management and coordination of operations within the assigned facility. This role includes effective supervision of employees, workforce planning, logistics, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The coordinator will also manage external relations with customers and vendors, optimizing labor and assets to align with strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and dispatches day-to-day operations according to company objectives and profitability goals.
  • Implements short and long-term planning initiatives for operational excellence.
  • Oversees inventory tracking to ensure proper management of assets through operational phases.
  • Coaches and directs team members to align daily tasks with business goals and best practices.
  • Cultivates a strong safety culture and ensures compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Supports business development activities and enhances customer experience.
  • Responsible for quality control and assurance to meet company QMS standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 4-6 years of work experience in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in TrakQuip and MS Office Suite.
  • Acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6-8 years of work experience in a related field.
  • 3-4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Financial and oilfield services business acumen.
  • Ability to manage conflict and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Extensive reasoning skills including analysis and coordination.
