About the position

The Operations Coordinator for the Office for Campus Life at Tufts University plays a crucial role in managing daily operations and providing administrative support to enhance student life. This position involves overseeing various programs and services that promote a balanced student experience, including student leadership development and campus programming.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main administrative contact for the Office for Campus Life.
  • Oversee daily operations and management for the OCL department.
  • Support the 50-student employee program and Mayer Campus Center operations.
  • Manage student organization space and event management.
  • Implement customer service initiatives and cross-campus collaborations.
  • Process all student organization event registrations through the student engagement platform.
  • Assist in planning and administrative efforts for Undergraduate Orientation, particularly Pre-Orientation programming.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of related customer service and operations experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with databases and ability to learn new software applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience in higher education or student affairs for more than one year is a plus.
