Responsibilities

  • Schedule, assign, manage, and monitor construction and service work.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and service dates while complying with safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and carry out switching orders for the distribution system.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC, and other departments to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Assume dispatching duties during emergency and storm situations to restore service promptly.
  • Read and interpret construction prints.
  • Work with external and internal customers.
  • Assume Supervisor's duties temporarily in their absence.
  • Review daily outages and monitor TACTICS and reliability issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computers and related technology.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks.
  • Excellent leadership skills and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and dependable team player.
