About the position

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the People and Talent team at a software engineering company focused on delivering innovative solutions for Federal Government organizations. This position involves managing various operational tasks, including human resources, recruiting, and administrative support, to ensure smooth daily operations. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 1-2 times a week to maintain office functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing daily operational activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of People Operations, including managing calendars and preparing documents
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication within the People and Talent team and with internal stakeholders
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job listings, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding
  • Coordinate employee recognition, culture, and special events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance brand awareness
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technology systems and procedures
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping in relevant databases and platforms

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Effective communication skills for serving as a liaison and facilitating coordination activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Nice-to-haves

  • Graphics design experience
  • Prior hands-on experience with HR and recruiting tools, systems, and platforms
