About the position

The Operations Coordinator at LB Marketing / Police Security Flashlights is responsible for supporting the operations management team in various tasks related to the quoting process, supplier management, product management, and product-related marketing material review. This role involves a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Operations in quote requests from suppliers and cost calculation
  • Communicate with overseas suppliers to solve operational issues
  • Manage product tracking, project milestones, and participate in product development meetings
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project timelines are met
  • Communicate new product offerings and updates to cross-functional teams
  • Assist with product sourcing, research, and development
  • Support ongoing product maintenance and improvement projects
  • Assist the art and marketing departments in reviewing product-related files
  • Maintain product data and set up new items

Requirements

  • Excellent cross-department communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a consumer products or manufacturing environment
  • Relevant experience in supply chain coordination or manufacturing coordination
  • Experience working with suppliers and overseas shipping and manufacturing
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • College degree

Nice-to-haves
