About the position

The Asset Management Operations Coordinator at KBR plays a crucial role in the Global Asset Management (GAM) group, which provides comprehensive manufacturing and supply chain solutions to both commercial and government clients. This position is centered around the management of Government Property and Honeywell Special Test Equipment (STE), Special Tooling, and Equipment Asset management. The coordinator will be responsible for implementing asset management policies and procedures that align with government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as Aerospace policies. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of the asset management process and ensuring compliance with specific contract objectives and deliverables. In this position, the Operations Coordinator will handle routine assignments while developing essential job skills. Responsibilities include receiving property against receiving documents, issuing assets and materials as requested, documenting traceability characteristics, and supporting property audits. The coordinator will also collaborate with management on special projects, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the overall goals of the organization. The role requires a proactive approach to tracking and compiling metric data related to asset management, as well as supporting cross-functional teams to adhere to Asset/Material Compliance Practices, Policies, and Standards. The Operations Coordinator will also be involved in organizing and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine assignments and build core job skills with Government and Honeywell Special Test Equipment.
  • Assist with DCMA audits, internal network audits, customer audits, and the scheduling and tracking of physical inventories.
  • Support property objectives, work plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Facilitate and ensure execution of corrective action and CAMP plans.
  • Maintain records of government and engineering property, collect data and create metrics.
  • Process cost and no-cost transfers, plan and coordinate physical inventories.
  • Support internal and external customers with audits and information requests.
  • Aid in tracking and compiling metric data and Property Management Self-Assessment data related to asset management.
  • Collaborate with site stakeholders to implement asset process changes affecting cross-functional groups.
  • Coordinate daily logistical operations, inventory control, and ensure accurate inventory and timely delivery of goods.
  • Organize and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree, along with 1 year of relevant experience
  • In lieu of formal education, 5 years of directly related experience
  • Ability to obtain National Property Management Certification within 1 year of employment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP
  • Knowledge and understanding of Configuration of Bill of Material (BOM)
