About the position

The Operations Coordinator will manage the daily operations of a renowned baseball training school, ensuring efficient facility operations, safety compliance, and high-performance standards for staff and students. This role involves multitasking across various responsibilities, including property management, scheduling, onboarding new coaches, and supporting different departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, including revisions to training schedules and maintaining an updated master schedule.
  • Ensure that the property, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, including overseeing safety protocols and cleanliness.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new coaches and provide ongoing training and development for the coaching staff.
  • Supervise and manage operations related to the farm league, including organizing teams and scheduling games.
  • Oversee the daily opening and closing of the facility, managing all systems such as security and equipment.
  • Ensure that the property's landscaping is maintained and supervise the care of any animals on the farm.
  • Monitor all lessons and training sessions to ensure they meet established standards and facilitate quarterly evaluations of students.
  • Facilitate and oversee quarterly student assessments, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated to students and parents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment and ensure proper storage and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a sports or educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle daily challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Familiarity with baseball programs or other sports operations is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of property management, landscaping, and animal care is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
