The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the internal operations of a premier international development nonprofit in Washington, DC. This position is designed for a mid-level professional with experience in administrative support, procurement, and travel management. The role involves direct support to the Vice President of Operations and the Operations Manager, ensuring efficient office operations and effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative support to the VP of Operations and Operations Manager.
  • Manage internal calendar for staff and VP of Operations, including scheduling and deadline management.
  • Provide support to staff for various projects and internal requests.
  • Order supplies and manage vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate meetings and set up logistics for various events.
  • Process invoices and manage expense reports.
  • Streamline procurement and travel processes for staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience in operations or administrative support.
  • Strong skills in budgeting and vendor management.
  • Proficient in calendar management and scheduling.
  • Experience in travel processing and procurement.
