About the position

Emterra Environmental USA Corp is a leading recycling and waste disposal solution provider, dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our clients. We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Flint, Michigan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes and enhancing our customer relations. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to manage various administrative tasks, support operational activities, and maintain effective communication across departments. In this position, you will assist the Operations Supervisor with a variety of administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination. You will be responsible for maintaining and organizing files, records, and documentation related to business operations. Additionally, you will prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as required to support the operational needs of the company. Customer relations are a key aspect of this role. You will serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information about our services. Handling customer complaints and issues will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions to maintain our high standards of service. Operational support is another critical component of the Operations Coordinator role. You will monitor and track daily operations, reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Operations Supervisor. Assisting in the preparation of operational reports, performance metrics, and analyses will be essential to help the team make informed decisions. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication, and help implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Supervisor with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher (Preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
