The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for running reports, organizing data, ordering supplies, invoicing, coordinating events, and providing general office support. In addition to administrative duties, the Operations Coordinator will track and review employee hours worked under various labor codes to ensure accuracy and will run reports as needed. The role also involves managing invoices, reviewing purchase orders, preparing payments for vendors, and reconciling discrepancies. Effective communication is vital, as the Operations Coordinator will relay important business updates to employees through text messages and PowerPoint presentations displayed on distribution center monitors. The position requires collaboration with external vendors for facility repairs, maintaining strong relationships with service providers and the facility landlord. The Operations Coordinator will also partner with the DC Safety Supervisor on safety initiatives, emphasizing a culture of safety within the workplace. Organizing engagement events and team bonding activities is another responsibility, which may involve working with catering vendors. The role is primarily focused on supporting DC Operations (90%) with a smaller portion dedicated to Human Resources (10%). Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making flexibility and adaptability key traits for success in this position.
