About the position

The Operations Coordinator at St. David's Center for Child & Family Development is responsible for providing a wide range of customer care and operational support. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and organized environment for clients and staff, managing supplies and equipment, and assisting in crisis management. The position emphasizes inclusivity and employee wellness, offering a collaborative work environment with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support within St. David's Center.
  • Maintain and organize safe, clean, and orderly waiting and treatment spaces.
  • Procure and maintain program supplies and equipment, including cleaning and replacement.
  • Order and prepare food programs as applicable.
  • Support crisis management and act as backup for security.
  • Check treatment rooms daily to reorganize and tidy therapy areas for treatment.
  • Monitor inventory and ordering schedule, restocking Supply Hubs as needed.
  • Manage program equipment and supplies procurement, stocking, repairs, and returns.
  • Respond to requests and needs from clients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Occasionally cover security receptionist and front desk duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative and/or operational role, preferably in a clinic or education setting.
  • Experience with preschool and school-age children with special needs.
  • Crisis management and de-escalation experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Understanding of operational processes related to client/customer experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in clinic administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of health cleanliness standards and licensing agency requirements.
