The Operations Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) plays a crucial role in managing the operational aspects of the Spokane office. Reporting directly to the Site Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the reception, organization, valuation, procurement, and tracking of both purchased goods and In-Kind donations. The Operations Coordinator serves as the primary supply chain point person for all Integra coordination and inventory systems, ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is vital in supporting the IRC's mission by ensuring that the office is equipped to deliver effective client services while maintaining safety and security for both staff and clients. In addition to managing office operations, the Operations Coordinator will work closely with program managers, technical units from headquarters, and the Seattle Operations Team. This collaboration is essential for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, as well as for enhancing the overall operational growth of the office. The Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for supervising Spokane operations staff, interns, and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are aligned with the IRC's operational protocols. The position requires a proactive approach to facility management, including overseeing lease agreements, ensuring regular and preventative building maintenance, and managing seasonal grounds maintenance. The Operations Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for IT and communications infrastructure, working with regional and HQ IT teams to resolve any service disruptions. Furthermore, this role involves managing off-site and on-site storage and supporting the onboarding of new staff by providing necessary equipment and orientation to the office and its assets. Adherence to IRC safeguarding policies is paramount, and the Operations Coordinator will ensure that these policies are followed by all staff, vendors, and volunteers.
