About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a driver for Penske, you will be responsible for the delivery of snacks and bread products, ensuring that our clients receive their goods safely and on time. You will operate late model trucks that are designed for comfort and efficiency, representing both Penske and our clients while on the road. This position offers a structured schedule from Monday through Friday, with various start times and weekends off, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. In this role, you will typically have 2 to 3 layovers per week, providing you with the opportunity to experience different routes and locations. Responsibilities

  • Delivery of snacks and bread products.
  • Operate late model Penske trucks with best-in-class specifications.
  • Complete 2 to 3 layovers per week.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable attendance schedule.
  • Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.

Requirements

  • CDL Class A required.
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Ability to accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer service and building relationships with clients.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
