About the position

As a Collision Repair Specialist at Penske, you will be responsible for performing minor truck and trailer collision repairs, and with supervision, some major repairs. This role involves using advanced technology and repair techniques to ensure high-quality restoration of vehicles. Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical system repairs and surface preparation for refinishes.
• Assist in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components under supervision.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety standards.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school preferred.
• Certification of completion of technical school specializing in truck and trailer repair/refinish preferred.
• Working knowledge of tools of trade including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions and safety regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with advanced vehicle maintenance technology.
