About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Mosaic will facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA) consent decree program at the Bartow Concentrates facility. This role supports site leadership in ensuring compliance with operational schedules and activities, addressing gaps, and communicating impediments to achieving RCRA goals. The coordinator will also serve as the primary point of contact for facility personnel regarding the RCRA CD process and will lay the groundwork for managing solid and hazardous waste activities to ensure compliance with RCRA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain fluency in RCRA consent decree requirements to support day-to-day operations.
• Support site leadership in achieving full RCRA CD compliance at the facility level.
• Review, track, and oversee spill reporting and inspection results.
• Provide feedback on proper identification, reporting, correction, and response to spills.
• Collaborate with the Environmental support group on RCRA compliance and reporting.
• Perform compliance audits and proactively address gaps.
• Communicate developments and issues to management continuously.
• Liaise with Projects Engineering to track RCRA Capital projects.
• Ensure proper maintenance and organization of related records and data.
• Facilitate and oversee training related to BMPs and consent decree requirements.

Requirements

• High school Diploma/GED
• 5+ years of Plant Operations experience
• Phos-Acid Production experience is preferred
• Regulatory experience is preferred
