About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Little Sesame is responsible for supporting the daily administrative and operational functions of the company. This role involves assisting the Operations team with supply chain activities, inventory management, vendor coordination, and various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team, including generating documents, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Assist in tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock, and updating inventory management systems.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Support order fulfillment by coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and retailers.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational data, including purchase orders, inventory reports, and shipment logs.
  • Assist in managing inbound and outbound shipments, including working with third-party logistics providers to resolve any shipping issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for operations, including regulatory compliance, is properly maintained and up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or administrative roles, ideally within the CPG industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP (Netsuite) or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Knowledge or interest in the food industry.
