About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Craftmasters Laser and Fabrication is responsible for managing the production schedule and coordinating various job roles related to manufacturing and fabrication. This role requires a technically-savvy, self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers while maintaining effective communication with production, purchasing, and account management teams.

Responsibilities

• Tracking and scheduling incoming jobs to set the pace of the shop.
• Monitoring and maintaining the daily schedule, rescheduling late or pushed jobs as necessary.
• Printing schedules and production reports weekly.
• Working closely with the Production Manager to track and meet schedule goals.
• Coordinating with the Purchasing Manager to schedule material deliveries.
• Communicating delivery dates to customers and fulfilling rush requests in collaboration with the Account Manager.
• Occasionally overseeing customer-specific projects and general order tracking.
• Coordinating procedural tasks related to scheduling and software database maintenance.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP Software and process documentation is helpful.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform in an active, fast-paced environment, including some outdoor work.
• Self-motivated problem-solver with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or machining preferred but not required.

• Experience with ECI JobBoss2 ERP Software.
