About the position

As an Operations Coordinator at Mobile Modular, you will play a crucial role in the delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively coordinate with internal partners, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless operations. You will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks that support both the Sales and Operations departments. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with sales representatives, vendor partners, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers. In this role, you will obtain customer information and utilize it to ensure the timely execution of projects. You will provide timely information to all parties involved, ensuring that everyone has the necessary details to perform their jobs effectively. Communication is key, and you will be expected to interface with vendors, contractors, architects, and customers in a clear and professional manner, both in writing and verbally. You will also be responsible for managing each project to completion, adhering to company policies and procedures while using various systems and tools. Negotiation skills will be essential as you work to settle differences with customers and vendors, ensuring that you can win concessions without damaging relationships. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be action-oriented, and possess a strong drive to finish tasks effectively. You will need to be adaptable, composed under pressure, and able to create effective peer relationships to solve problems collaboratively. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a professional business environment, preferably with logistics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings with internal partners, vendors, and customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in a professional business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior logistics experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction terms is preferred.
