About the position

The Operations Assistant supports the operations team at Wounded Warrior Homes by ensuring efficient and effective processes. This part-time role involves various support and logistical tasks aimed at enhancing operational productivity, including client interaction, home inspections, community outreach, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Assist WWH clients with applying for programs and identifying resources.
• Conduct home visits and inspections to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Identify repair and maintenance needs and schedule services for homes.
• Attend community events and meetings for fundraising and brand awareness.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing pantry inventory.
• Input and update data in databases and spreadsheets for accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining operations and contribute to solutions.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
• Update social media platforms and create content.
• Create a monthly newsletter for clients, alumni, donors, and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous operations and logistics experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Classy, Squarespace, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
