About the position

The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the operations team by ensuring efficient planning and execution of operational activities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills who can identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements. The Operations Coordinator will maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and facilitate smooth workflows between departments, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operations team in the planning and execution of operational activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage documentation related to operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any operational issues that arise.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and other logistics for the operations team.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all operations adhere to company standards and legal regulations.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or facilities management are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
  • Must be available to work in the office five days a week, Monday through Friday.
  • Must be able to commute to other Equinox locations.
