The IT Operations Coordinator at United Way of Connecticut will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the IT department. This position is designed for a proactive individual who can manage IT projects effectively while ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing IT projects from planning through execution and monitoring. You will act as a liaison between the IT department and business units, ensuring that all IT needs are met efficiently. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing product licenses and software subscriptions, troubleshooting system performance issues, and collaborating with other departments to provide appropriate IT solutions. Additionally, you will maintain and update IT documentation, gather report requirements, and facilitate their implementation for reports and visual dashboards. You will also document various workflows throughout the organization and develop project plans to modernize these approaches. Utilizing various project management tools, you will create visuals to communicate, prioritize, and schedule product deliveries. Your role will involve working closely with IT and other business units to track project statuses and participate in all aspects of Agile development processes. You will assist in managing change management processes and adhere to established development standards and protocols. This position requires you to work from the UWC offices in Rocky Hill, CT, at least one day per week, and you must be able to support a 24/7 mission-critical environment. Occasionally, you may need to work outside of regular hours and adhere to specified emergency response times.
