About The Position

The Operations Coordinator is a vital role within the store, responsible for supporting various administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can partner effectively with store management, vendors, and the Citarella administrative team on a daily basis to address all relevant store needs. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, exceptional time management skills, and a relentless organizational ability, acting as a behind-the-scenes conductor for the administrative flow of the store. Key responsibilities include entering and receiving store orders and DSD orders in collaboration with management and the Packing team. The Operations Coordinator will compile, review, and distribute daily bills to the Accounting department for accurate recordkeeping. Communication with vendors regarding unpaid or delinquent bills is also a critical aspect of this role. Additionally, the coordinator will collect manifests from delivery trucks and ensure they are distributed to the appropriate departments for review. Maintaining accurate inventory through daily counts is essential, as is opening tickets after management approval and following through on their resolution. The Operations Coordinator will fill out weekly KPIs and send recap emails that reflect the patterns of the business. They will also review and print the daily newsletter for distribution to department managers, update store communication boards, and communicate daily with the customer service department regarding store inventory and customer inquiries. Tracking items and updating management about food quality issues, low inventory, or any other noteworthy inventory concerns is also part of the role.
