About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Surlean Foods is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the communications and daily operations of the production team. This role involves ensuring the smooth flow of work between departments, managing paperwork, and facilitating meetings to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments
  • Ensures paperwork is completed and filed
  • Coordinates and leads meetings, takes notes, transcribes, and assures proper distribution of minutes
  • Assists with projects as needed

Requirements

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solver with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and communicates directly and honestly
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet management requirements and customer expectations
