About the position

The Operations Coordinator at GEO PSI Corp is a vital role focused on supporting the Texas operations of the Field Service Team. This position is designed to alleviate administrative burdens, allowing the team to concentrate on fieldwork. The coordinator will manage inventory, maintain safety records, handle documentation, and ensure compliance, all within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and handling inventory items and consumables for tracking and billing purposes
• Keeping accurate inventory records, including movements from incoming shipments and customer deliveries
• Maintaining required safety records and certifications, ensuring all data is filed in the local database
• Processing material transfers and returns, obtaining approvals as needed, and ensuring accurate reconciliation
• Reconciling service tickets for billing and ensuring complete documentation for fieldwork activities
• Creating purchase orders and ensuring proper deliveries to customers' locations when required
• Operating equipment like forklifts and other inventory handling equipment
• Gathering safety records from the Field Service team and filing according to established standards, policies, processes, and procedures
• Processing required transactions in ERP System (currently NAV)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in administrative support roles in logistics, supply chain, or field service environments
• 1-3 years of experience with workplace safety regulations, OSHA, and safety compliance experience
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, with strong skills in MS Outlook and Word, and familiarity with the rest of the MS Office suite
• Proficiency with inventory tracking, preferably ERP tools such as NAV, QuickBooks, SAP, or other similar systems
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift certification
• Able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, sitting and standing for extended periods
