About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Penske Truck Leasing and Logistics is responsible for completing administrative processes that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role involves providing superior customer service and communication to both internal and external customers, while supporting the branch financial manager with guidance and information that contributes to branch performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable process and maintain local collection contacts to support centralized function.
• Monitor weekly and monthly lease, contract maintenance, and special billing, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Establish and control processes to support customer service and branch profitability.
• Complete fleet service activities such as licensing, permitting, and processing citations.
• Track and coordinate asset outside services and establish collaborative relationships with Fleet Services.
• Perform process analyses and reviews in areas such as billing, credit memos, and accounts receivable.
• Investigate and recommend solutions to issues affecting profitability.
• Maintain district personnel files and complete weekly payroll.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service and financial administrative experience.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QlikView or AS400 for operational analysis.
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
