About the position

The Operations Coordinator for the Tuberculosis (TB) and Hansen's Disease Unit at the Department of State Health Services is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, coordinating vendor resources, and providing training and technical assistance to staff and funded programs. This role involves monitoring vendor performance, maintaining documentation, and developing training modules to support public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor access to all vendor resources and maintain logs of approved users.
• Respond to incidents of non-compliance with federal and state laws, gathering information and submitting reports as necessary.
• Coordinate access to federal and state databases, ensuring appropriate use and maintaining distribution lists.
• Develop and conduct annual trainings for Unit staff and funded programs, ensuring compliance with updates and requirements.
• Conduct walk-through visits to identify compliance issues and provide guidance on confidentiality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, communications, public affairs, public administration, or a related field.
• Experience in coordinating compliance with health data security and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience in providing technical assistance and training on administrative policies.
