About the position

The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating warehouse efforts to ensure the smooth distribution of fresh produce to organic markets, food co-ops, and independent retailers. This position emphasizes effective communication, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently coordinate work assignments for both inbound and outbound operations
• Provide customer service support to outside carriers/inbound drivers
• Provide timely communication to Operations, Transportation, Quality, Sales, and Buying for Receiving and Shipping updates and inquiries
• Assist Operations Planners and Warehouse Leads as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and well-known WMS (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions
