The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of the office environment. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Administrative Manager and Facilities Manager to coordinate various tasks and activities that are essential for the day-to-day operations of the office. This includes managing the front desk, overseeing vendor relationships, and maintaining the organization of the office space. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. In this position, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for welcoming guests, answering calls, and ensuring that the front lobby and surrounding areas are well-organized. The coordinator will also manage the facilities inbox and the ticketing/badging system, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently. Additionally, the role involves assisting with scheduling and logistics for meetings, events, and projects, as well as serving as a backup for other administrative staff when needed. The Operations Coordinator will also be tasked with distributing mail and packages to designated recipients and managing the office supply inventory to ensure that all necessary materials are readily available.
