About the position

The Operations Coordinator for Undergraduate Admission at Babson College is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families while supporting various enrollment-related processes. This part-time position requires a commitment to a diverse working environment and involves managing communication channels, data entry, and administrative support for marketing initiatives and events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service related to admission and college information via phone, email, and mail.
  • Manage the general admission email account and respond to a high volume of inquiries daily.
  • Understand the admission process to effectively answer questions from prospective students.
  • Provide administrative coordination and support for marketing initiatives, events, and admission interviews.
  • Perform high volume data entry, including admission inquiries and applicant credentials in the office CRM, Slate.
  • Support the GPA re-Calculation team during peak application review times.
  • Collaborate with enrollment staff on special projects as assigned.
  • Provide back-up support to the customer service/front-desk coordinator as needed.
  • Adhere to enrollment business processes and data integrity protocols.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work creatively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Google Drives.
  • Ability to propose new methods to perform tasks and embrace change.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
