About the position

We are seeking a self-starting Operations Coordinator to join our team in Minnetonka, MN. This role is ideal for someone who has 3-5 years of related experience but is looking to advance in their career. You will work directly with the Senior Director of Operations, ensuring operational efficiency for both Operations and Product Development through duties related to data integrity and management, cost analysis, and project management. This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days a week at our Minnetonka office.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain product item numbers in JDE system including category codes, stocking types, UPC changes, price and cost changes, and cycle count codes.
  • Review and correct inventory issues from weekly integrity reports that include costing, inventory, and cycle count issues.
  • Assist IT department in JDE upgrades, procedure changes, and problem solving for Advanced Warehousing and Operations department.
  • Track container and freight charges, approve and reconcile vendor invoices, enter and roll new costs from factories and vendors, and advise Sales of changes in GPM.
  • Create, track, report and amend all UPC brands associated with Rapala for both US and ROW.
  • Coordinate and facilitate information between factories, distribution center, label vendor, Auburn Labs, and customers to ensure that product is RFID compliant for shipping.
  • Track and report quality control issues on product; include processing reports, debit memos, and internal communication.
  • Facilitate and update information between factory and warehouse for changes in distribution, such as case pack changes or inline packaging changes.
  • Coordinate and set up special kit projects while collaborating with Sales and Warehouse teams.
  • Manage short and long-term department KPI's, objectives and procedures.
  • Enter bills of materials for manufactured items, including routing and labor.
  • Enter, process, and receive work orders.
  • Receive product off purchase orders, put shipments into transit, correct receiving variances.
  • Process inventory transactions for scrap, location set up, adjustments, no charges, customer returns, and debit memos for QC issues or vendor returns.
  • Maintain cycle counts for all Rapala brand products and assist with VMC cycle count system.
  • Coordinate daily counts, analyze variances, maintain accuracy spreadsheets for auditors, monitor count levels and adjust count dates as needed.
  • Work directly with outside vendors to reconcile inventory at their location.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience coordinating Operations projects and tasks
  • Proficient in JDEdwards, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and identifying issues proactively
  • Strong leadership skills
