About the position

The Operations Coordinator at McKesson is responsible for a variety of site activities aimed at meeting business needs within the distribution center. This role involves supporting employee onboarding, training, adherence to policies and procedures, project management, and various administrative functions. The Operations Coordinator also plays a key role in implementing enterprise-wide programs and enhancing employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts new hire orientation and employee onboarding, ensuring a positive experience and adherence to policies.
  • Completes follow-up with new hires at 30, 60, and 90 days to ensure checklist completion.
  • Assists in conducting annual site trainings and information sessions for compliance training.
  • Provides annual safety and security re-training courses for employees.
  • Processes additional pay for exempt and non-exempt employees bi-weekly and weekly, respectively.
  • Reviews timecards for CA Meal Violations and reports findings to leadership weekly.
  • Assists with customer calls regarding missing inventory control items.
  • Handles DEA Background check submissions.
  • Manages Records and Information Management (RIMs) by filing and tracking files for transfer.
  • Acts as a Vitality champion, providing updates and information on benefits.
  • Organizes and supports in-house engagement events for the distribution center.
  • Guides employees in resolving issues related to benefits, pay, ethics, and policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to become proficient in McKesson Operations Systems (SAP, Labor Management, Ariba, Accumax, Workday).
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise and local policies, practices, and systems.
  • Previous operation/warehouse experience.
