About the position

As an Operations Coordinator at Wesco, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations team by managing order prioritization and routing. This position involves assisting in various warehouse functions, coordinating documentation, and ensuring effective communication within the team to enhance workflow and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations team through proficient order prioritization and routing.
  • Provide assistance in all areas of the warehouse based on location needs.
  • Coordinate and manage documentation effectively.
  • Identify potential problems in processes and collaborate with management to resolve them.
  • Align employees and workflow by coordinating with local managers and supervisors.
  • Act as team lead on small or special projects.
  • Manage multiple communication systems to fulfill internal customer requests.
  • Oversee daily order and task production in the warehouse management system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of order management experience within a warehouse or production environment required.
  • 1 year of operational and/or logistics experience preferred.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
