About the position

The position is responsible for managing and overseeing capital construction projects within the distribution capital portfolio at Entergy Services, LLC. The incumbent will ensure the safe execution of projects, provide technical support, and coordinate with various departments to meet company standards and deadlines while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, manage, and monitor work of capital construction projects.
• Ensure safe execution of distribution projects and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Provide technical support and management updates for projects.
• Prepare and carry out Energized Work Plans (EWP) and switching orders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC, and other departments to ensure compliance with company specifications.
• Communicate effectively with external and internal customers.
• Assist in emergency or storm restoration efforts as needed.
• Assume Supervisor's duties in their absence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field required.
• Desired: Minimum 8 years of line construction experience (Transmission or Distribution).
• Strong knowledge of computers and related technology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities under pressure.
• Self-motivated and dependable team player.
• Ability to recognize and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Ability to maintain and care for company equipment.
