The Operations Coordinator in La Mirada will play a crucial role in ensuring the administrative processes of the branch operate smoothly, contributing to overall operational efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing superior customer service and communication to both internal and external customers. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the branch financial manager, offering guidance and information that is vital for enhancing branch performance and profitability. In this role, the Operations Coordinator will oversee various financial operations, including the accounts receivable process, ensuring that local collection contacts are maintained to support centralized functions. The coordinator will monitor lease agreements, contract maintenance, and special billing on a weekly and monthly basis, taking the initiative to resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner. Establishing and controlling all related processes is essential to support customer service and branch profitability. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for fleet operations, which include completing fleet service activities such as licensing, permitting, and managing in/out service vehicles. The coordinator will also track and coordinate asset outside services, ensuring that all necessary support is provided for fleet operations. A collaborative relationship with Fleet Services is essential to support licensing, permitting, citations, and other fleet-related tasks. The role also involves process analytics, where the Operations Coordinator will perform analyses and reviews in various areas such as billing, credit memos, and accounts receivable. Investigating and recommending solutions to issues that pose risks to profitability will be a key responsibility. The use of systems like Qlikview or AS400 will be necessary to understand operational dynamics and drive process improvements. Other responsibilities include maintaining district personnel files, completing weekly payroll, and processing paperwork for new hires. The Operations Coordinator will also take on projects and tasks as assigned by the Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager. The position generally follows a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, although flexibility may be required based on business needs.
