About the position

The Operations Coordinator at TeeTurtle is responsible for facilitating the placement and monitoring of purchase orders with overseas suppliers, collaborating closely with the Supply Chain, Sales, and Creative teams. This role involves maintaining item master data and ensuring timely order placements to support the company's operations in creating and distributing consumer products.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchase orders with the sales team to ensure timely placement and monitoring of direct import and localization sales orders.
  • Collaborate with the creative team and overseas suppliers to ensure production files are received and approved.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system (Brightpearl) with up-to-date information for visibility to stakeholders.
  • Work with the sales team and suppliers to ensure shipments are booked with freight forwarders and required documents are provided to customers.
  • Assist the Purchasing Lead with documentation gathering and data updates to keep purchase orders on track.
  • Create new items in the ERP system (Brightpearl) and Shopify, maintaining information for existing items for data accuracy.
  • Assist the Supply Chain team with maintaining documentation related to products and suppliers.
  • Maintain SOPs as processes change to ensure they accurately reflect current processes.
  • Coordinate with the Kickstarter project team for timely product setups and order management.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience and Ecom teams to resolve open order issues related to incorrect product setups.
  • Assist with New Product Development activities in coordination with the NPD manager and the Creative team.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2 years of equivalent experience (required).
  • 1+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, or a similar role (required).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (required).
  • Experience with email applications such as Gmail, Outlook, etc. (required).
  • Experience with ERP systems or similar (preferred).
  • Experience with project/task management tools (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a consumer goods business (preferred).
