About the position

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Tamarac, FL. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in leading the business operations within our branch locations, ensuring that our customer-facing associates and branch functions operate smoothly and efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, which includes maintaining inventories, conducting physical inventories, and ensuring the location's appearance meets our standards. You will work closely with vendors and the Ferguson shared services division to resolve pricing discrepancies and facilitate customer credit memos accurately. Additionally, you will oversee the facilities to provide a safe and well-maintained work environment, adhering to established safety standards and policies. Your role will also involve implementing operational efficiency improvements, which may include standardizing systems, enhancing quality control, and improving customer satisfaction. You will review customer invoices for accuracy in pricing, costing, and freight billing, ensuring that all operations align with company guidelines. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. You will participate in associate meetings and address any concerns with management, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventories and conduct physical inventories.
  • Ensure the location appearance meets company standards.
  • Work with vendors to resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Facilitate customer credit memos accurately based on company guidelines.
  • Work on WMS Variance and Cycle Count Reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Implement operational efficiency improvements, including standardization of systems and quality control.
  • Review customer invoices for pricing and costing accuracy, as well as freight billing and costing.
  • Oversee the facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment.
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of experience at Ferguson preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Trilogie and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WMS/HighJump preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle stress and work as a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Understanding of the importance of customer service.
  • Willingness to assist in other areas beyond operations when needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with HighJump software.
