About the position

The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and providing excellent customer service within a wholesale florist company. This position involves assisting drivers, organizing routes, and problem-solving various operational issues to maintain efficient logistics and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with their needs to ensure timely deliveries.
• Serve as the point of contact for drivers and clients, providing solutions to issues or questions.
• Organize routes and check invoices and credit forms.
• Problem-solve warehouse and production issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Operate the box truck for moving to dock doors or shop maintenance.
• Fill in as a delivery driver if short-staffed.
• Receive inventory, process it into new orders, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Schedule and facilitate basic warehouse maintenance services.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Logistics and transportation experience (preferred).
• Dispatch experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Clean driver's license (will operate a refrigerated truck for maintenance or if short-staffed).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading invoices and credit forms is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual.
