About the position

At Carvana, we are revolutionizing the car buying experience, and as a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our mission. This position involves performing various inventory and operations-related tasks at our Logistics Hubs and Inspection Centers. You will assist in all Warehouse, Logistics, and Transportation activities, supporting Logistics Associates (LAs) with their daily job functions. This includes leading huddles, scheduling, training, shuttle driving, loading, and other tasks as needed. You will also be responsible for processing inventory using RFID scanners and tablets, specifically related to specialized inventory types as designated by the leader. Monitoring team performance and productivity through KPI reporting will be a key part of your role, as well as assigning tasks and assisting with them. You will handle Third Party (3P) transactions, which includes both inbound and outbound planned 3P trips. This involves inspecting inbound receivable inventory from 3P trips, signing off on documentation, and creating and submitting support tickets. You will manage the operational partnership with the Quality Control Team and assist with the facilitation of delayed shipments by working closely with warehouse and transportation personnel. Additionally, you will manage Electric Vehicle (EV) inventory processes and assist with communication between Logistics and Market Operations related to operational execution. You will support audits of outbound shipping lanes to ensure that planned inventory is transported as scheduled and maintain Logistics operational supply inventory, including VT supplies, LA supplies, and breakroom supplies. Staging vehicles as needed and assisting onsite vendors with directions and access while on site will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage, coordinate, and provide oversight for Logistics employee engagement events, along with other duties as assigned. This role requires you to perform your job duties in various weather conditions, and you will need to be a great communicator and brand ambassador, ready to take on new assignments and juggle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have no more than two moving violations in the last three years or DUI.
  • Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
