About the position

The Operations Coordinator, Logistics & Tradeshow Support at Primary Arms is a vital role that encompasses a variety of technical support and logistics duties. This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments including Receiving, Inbound, Marketing, Merchandising, Optics, and Government Sales. The Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for inventory control, maintenance of optics and infrared devices, and conducting quality control checks on weapons. Additionally, the role involves preventive maintenance on weapons and equipment to support other business units as necessary, along with vehicle maintenance as directed by the Operations Manager. This full-time position typically operates during daytime hours, although some non-standard work shifts may be required based on operational needs. In this role, the Operations Coordinator will conduct quarterly audits of Marketing and Government inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. The position also involves mounting, zeroing, and performing basic tests of optics in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Engineering, Optics, Marketing, and Government operations. The coordinator will develop and implement processes related to distribution center operations to support trade shows and event preparations effectively. Maintaining the inventory of range equipment is also a critical responsibility, ensuring that all necessary tools are available for other business units. The Operations Coordinator will attend third-party and vendor firearms qualification classes as required by the Operations Manager, as well as participate in trade show and event operations. This includes facilitating the transfer of products between various warehouses and distribution centers, coordinating with the Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor to meet shipment and tradeshow support timelines. The role demands a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quarterly audits of Marketing and Government inventory.
  • Mount, zero, and perform basic tests of optics in accordance with Engineering, Optics, Marketing, and Government operations.
  • Develop and implement distribution center related processes to assist in supporting trade shows and event preparation.
  • Maintain range equipment inventory in support of other business units.
  • Attend third-party and vendor firearms qualification classes as dictated by the Operations Manager.
  • Attend trade show and event operations as dictated by the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain Primary Arms fleet vehicles as dictated by the Operations Manager.
  • Facilitate the vehicle transfer of products between all warehouses/distribution centers for Primary Arms.
  • Coordinate with Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor to complete shipments and tradeshow support timelines.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass driver safety training and maintain a clean driving history.
  • Excellent time management skills to coordinate various projects simultaneously.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Team player who works well under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Word, Excel, and Korber preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across the United States as needed.
