About the position

The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Pennsylvania Distribution Center (PADC) by managing various administrative tasks. This position focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through effective communication, data management, and vendor partnerships. The coordinator will also engage in problem-solving to preemptively address potential issues, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the PADC Human Resources and Operations Team.
  • Run reports and organize data as needed.
  • Order supplies and manage invoicing processes.
  • Coordinate events and partner with vendors for various needs.
  • Track and review employee hours worked under different labor codes.
  • Communicate important business updates to employees via text and presentations.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Partner with the DC Safety Supervisor on safety initiatives.
  • Organize DC engagement events and team bonding activities.
  • Review and import safety data sheets to the 3E system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years of related experience or training.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and reports.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to speak effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to analyze reports and data.
