About the position

The Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning and organizing project activities for electronic security installation projects. This position is responsible for ensuring effective coordination among various stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Operations team in various administrative tasks. The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work outside normal business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and organizing project activities for electronic security installation projects.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Schedule installation and subcontracting activities on projects or service jobs.
  • Track and approve timecards and billable hours for payroll processing, including PTO approval.
  • Coordinate physical deliveries to ensure materials are available for project completion.
  • Plan and coordinate training schedules, including registration and travel for Operations team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project scheduling and escalate issues as needed.
  • Organize and plan for all required equipment for the operations team, including vehicles and tools.
  • Manage petty cash reporting and expense reimbursement for field colleagues.
  • Support the onboarding of new colleagues in the Operations department.
  • Take meeting minutes as needed.
  • Manage contractor license renewal and COI processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role, project management, security integration, or technical experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience with standard office software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates degree (2 year) or Bachelor degree (4 year) in a technical capacity
  • PMP or PMI certified

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
