About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Fern Exposition Services LLC is responsible for overseeing all operational and administrative functions within the Seattle office. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations, particularly during live events and trade shows. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Operations Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager and will be expected to provide onsite support at various events, as well as assist with payroll and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all operational and administrative functions of the office.
  • Handle daily payroll responsibilities, including entry of union/nonunion labor hours into the system.
  • Respond to payroll questions from laborers.
  • Process branch invoices in MetaViewer and coordinate payment with accounting.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Provide onsite support at various tradeshows.
  • Assist the travel department with travel arrangements.
  • Travel to other cities for onsite support as needed.
