The Associate Operations Coordinator for the Centralized team plays a crucial role in performing basic operational tasks that are essential for meeting the transportation needs of customers and carriers. This position is focused on internal communication and requires a sharp emphasis on data integrity, quality, and efficiency. The individual in this role may be tasked with operational work that supports a specific customer, vertical segment, or functions within a centralized operations center. The specific responsibilities of the Associate Operations Coordinator can vary based on the type of assignment they are handling, making adaptability a key trait for success in this position. In this role, the Associate Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building loads, assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events, and invoicing. These tasks are vital for ensuring that operations run smoothly and that customer needs are met promptly and effectively. The position requires a blend of hard skills, such as technical proficiency in logistics and operations, as well as soft skills, including attention to detail, customer service orientation, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and adaptability. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months, offering a hybrid work environment that requires some days on-site in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and some days working remotely. The work schedule is primarily first shift, typically from 7 or 8 AM to 4:30 or 5 PM, with some flexibility. New hires are encouraged to come into the office on their first day and to remain on-site during the initial training period, which lasts approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
