Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Addison, Illinois. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in leading the business operations within a branch location or multiple locations, focusing on customer-facing associates and branch functions. This position is essential for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our branches and ensuring that we meet our organizational goals. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering job responsibilities according to defined standards and procedures. Your work will involve routine tasks with specific instructions aimed at achieving standardized solutions. You will face routine problems and issues, and you will be expected to follow established processes to resolve them effectively. Your duties will include maintaining inventories, conducting physical inventories, managing vendor pricing discrepancies, facilitating customer credit memos, and implementing quality control programs. You will also oversee the facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment, adhering to all safety standards and policies. Responsibilities

  • Act within the scope of established objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals.
  • Maintain inventories and conduct physical inventories under the direction of the manager.
  • Work with vendors and Ferguson shared services division to clear vendor pricing discrepancies.
  • Facilitate customer credit memos with accuracy based on company guidelines.
  • Work on WMS Variance and Cycle Count Reconciliation.
  • Develop or implement quality control programs.
  • Implement operational efficiency improvements, including standardization of systems, quality control, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review customer invoices for pricing and costing accuracy as well as freight billing and costing.
  • Oversee the facilities of the operation to provide a safe and well-maintained work environment.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and adhere to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years Ferguson experience is preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years HVAC experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Trilogie and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WMS/HighJump preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle stress and work as a team player with a good attitude.
  • Understanding of the importance of customer service.
  • Willingness to help out in other areas, besides operations, when needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Trilogie and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Knowledge of WMS/HighJump preferred but not required.
