About the position

The Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Branch Manager and various teams by coordinating operations and procedures related to inventory control, shipping and receiving, and sales. This position is essential for ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency, primarily focusing on warehouse operations and assisting with service coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and communication skills, contributing to the overall success of the branch's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate operations and procedures related to inventory control, shipping and receiving, and sales.
  • Engage in duties related to service support and sales efforts.
  • Assist with warehousing, shipping and receiving, cycle counts, and inventory control.
  • Support the branch management team by relaying work orders, messages, and information to work crews and supervisors.
  • Assist with valve assembly based on branch needs and setup.
  • Create and input sales orders from will call customers with assistance.
  • Assist the Service Coordinator with inputting service orders and entering labor hours into service orders.
  • Collect and dispatch CSRs and timesheets as needed.
  • Maintain stock on specified parts for service use.
  • Submit pick tickets for all shipped or delivered orders for invoicing.
  • Administer safety meetings and collate vehicle inspections with the Service Coordinator.
  • Assist in administering the FR clothing lease program as needed.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, processing mail, and maintaining files.
  • Plan and implement office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement to maintain office efficiency.
  • Order office supplies and ensure equipment is in working order.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in office administration, operations, or warehousing.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere supporting branch operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with safety compliance procedures.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
