About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team in North East, MD. This position offers an average annual salary of $92,000, with the added benefit of being home daily. As a driver for Penske, you will be responsible for delivering grocery products to various stores, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. You will operate late model trucks from Penske Truck Leasing, which are designed with best-in-class specifications for comfort and efficiency. The work schedule consists of a 5-day work week, with dispatch starting at 5 am each day. Responsibilities

• Deliver grocery products to stores in a timely and safe manner.
• Operate late model trucks with best-in-class specifications.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance as required by the schedule.
• Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Represent Penske and its clients while on the road.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Complete a background investigation and drug screening.
