About the position

The Operations Customer Service Specialist 1 role involves providing operational backroom and clerical support for Huntington's credit card products. The position requires research and support of daily processes using various bank systems while adhering to SCRA guidelines. The specialist will also perform User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades and new products, ensuring high-quality customer service in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support related to Huntington credit card products.
  • Research and support daily processes using various bank systems.
  • Escalate complex customer issues as appropriate.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and adaptability to changing environments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word).
  • 1 or more years of experience in customer service and/or banking.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 or more years of experience using financial institution and third-party systems for plastics transactions or related payment transactions.
  • 1 or more years of research experience in a customer service environment.
  • Prior experience servicing a credit/debit card product or familiarity with SCRA requirements.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
