About the position
The Operations Customer Service Specialist 1 role involves providing operational backroom and clerical support related to Huntington Bank's credit card products. The position requires research and support of daily processes using various bank systems while adhering to SCRA guidelines. The role is hybrid, requiring the candidate to be located near specified locations in Ohio or Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support related to Huntington credit card products.
- Conduct research and support daily processes using various bank systems.
- Escalate complex customer issues as appropriate.
- Deliver high-quality customer service with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and adaptability to changing environments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of experience in customer service and/or banking.
- Working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word) required.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 or more years of experience using financial institution and third-party systems for plastics transactions or related payment transactions.
- 1 or more years in research experience in a customer service environment.
- Prior experience servicing a credit/debit card product or familiarity with SCRA requirements.
- Strong communication skills for verbal and written interactions.
