The Operations Data Analyst position is a critical role within the MT Operations organization, responsible for analyzing and providing essential data to identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes. This role ensures that manufacturing master data is accurate, which is vital for proper product costing and effective decision-making by the Manufacturing Leadership Team. Additionally, the analyst will maintain the plant's Process Based Leadership (PBL) system, ensuring connectivity from the shop floor to the Core Leadership Team. The analyst will be tasked with creating and reporting production statistics, which includes providing daily, monthly, and quarterly numbers for all work centers. Key performance indicators such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), throughput, productivity, and efficiency will be monitored and reported. The role also involves analyzing manufacturing scrap data to provide trend data for overall material waste performance, updating the Cost of Quality Database weekly, and tracking rework and rework costs. Furthermore, the Operations Data Analyst will update Pay for Performance data weekly, allowing teams to measure their productivity, scrap, safety, and quality performance against targets for the plant's bonus system. The position requires the completion of Bill of Materials (BOM), Master Routing updates, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to include raw material consumption, labor utilization, and run rate information. The analyst will also provide operations software support for the Safety Management System and the Process Based Leadership System, and will be responsible for creating data reporting tools using MS Access or other programs for various operational reports.
