About the position

The Operations Director will play a pivotal role in leading a team of 4 salaried and 40 hourly associates at a privately held beverage facility located in Kauai, HI. This position requires a passionate and adaptable leader who is committed to driving operational excellence across all facets of the business, including production, sales, recipe development, quality control, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics. A deep understanding of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations is essential for success in this role. The facility prides itself on producing fresh products daily for retail and external customer orders, emphasizing the importance of quality and efficiency in operations. The ideal candidate will not only be skilled in operational management but will also appreciate the unique beauty and lifestyle that Kauai offers, including its weather, beaches, and outdoor sports. The organization values a strong sense of community and is looking for someone who is willing to commit to the company for a minimum of three to five years. As the company plans for future expansion in mid to late Quarter 3 of 2025, the Operations Director will be instrumental in supporting this growth while maintaining the core values of the business and ensuring that employees feel valued and part of a family-like environment. Compensation for this role can reach up to $125,000 in base salary, complemented by healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), a 401k plan, three weeks of paid time off (PTO), and a $500 monthly company stipend for purchasing company products. Additionally, there is potential for bonuses based on company sales and the longevity of service within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 salaried and 40 hourly associates.
• Drive operational excellence in production, sales, recipe development, quality control, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
• Ensure the production of fresh products daily for retail and external customer orders.
• Maintain a strong understanding of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations.
• Support future facility expansion plans slated for mid-late Quarter 3 of 2025.
• Foster a family-like work environment to maintain low employee turnover rates.
